Homework assignments will be given Monday-Thursday. Every Monday a weekly newsletter will be sent home that will include the homework assignments for the week. Homework is given to promote independence and responsibility as well as to review learned skills. Each student is responsible for completing his/her assignments and for turning them in on time.

          Throughout the day, students will be given assignments in various subject areas. Any work that has not been completed will be worked on during free time and then becomes homework; which is due the following day. Homework assignments not completed will be worked on during recess. As soon as they complete their work they may partake in the time remaining for recess. Since homework is very important to success, I appreciate your support.

As part of your homework routine, please spend time with your child talking about their day at school and read a book each day with your child.
